Best Fifth Wheel Cover That Stands Up To The Hot Florida Sun Without Ripping

Question:
My wife and I are snow birds with a 5th wheel in Florida parked at an RV park. I have bought the CamCo Ultraguard cover for it two years ago. When we leave in late March we cover it and uncover it in late December. I have gone through two covers in 3 years. When new they are great easy to put on and do a good job at protecting the 5th wheel from the sun and rain of central Florida. After a year the sides and top are very brittle and dusty feeling. Each time half way through the next summer the top rips usually down the center top seam. My question is: Is there a treatment that can be applied, such as awning conditioner, that will help keep the top supple and stronger for a while longer? The hot Florida sun just seems to kill the top and exposed sides.

I do have an option for you but unfortunately there is not a fabric conditioner available for the Camco UltraGuard 5th Wheel Cover part # CAM45757 or any other brand. Even if there was a fabric conditioner available it would most likely still become brittle under the Florida sun.
Although the CamCo Ultraguard is a great product according to many of our customers, a fifth wheel cover with a bit more UV protection is what you need. I recommend Adco #AD79ZR Olefin premium cover. Olefin HD fifth-wheel toy hauler cover works best for long-term storage in all climates. Heavy-duty fabric protects against rain, dirt, wind, and sun. Contoured fit matches shape of your RV. Secures with cinch rope and straps.
