I have a solution for you but I was unable to find any wiring diagrams that specify which wires are which on the 2015 Nissan Titan. Because of this, you'll need to manually trace and test each wire to determine which wire controls which function. In order to test each wire, you can use a circuit tester similar to # PTW2992 and check the factory harness to determine which wire is the power and which wire gives a signal when the brake is pressed- the ground and Brake Controller Output won't have any power regardless.
With all that being said, it's way easier to get an adapter like the Tekonsha Wiring Harness # 3050-P that is specifically designed for this. On top of easily letting you switch out for a new brake controller, or allowing you to quickly transfer your brake controller to another vehicle, using the wiring harness is going to provide you a clean and easy installation. If you do want to go ahead and hard-wire a Tekonsha Brake Controller, the generic wiring key is as follows:
Black- This wire will run directly to the positive battery terminal
Red- Wires in behind the brake pedal to the Stop Light Switch
White- Ground wire
Blue- Brake Control wire - runs all the way to the 7 way connector at the back of your 2015 Nissan Titan
If you have a different brand brake controller, let me know and I can recommend a different adapter.
I have attached a video of the installation of the Tekonsha P2 # 90885 brake controller using the # 3050-P wiring harness to this answer that shows how everything is installed using the wiring harness.
