Question:

We had aluminum spoke wheels and are changing to steel. Can the lug nuts that were on the aluminum wheels be used on the steel. We had purchased some lug nuts but they were shorter and did not cover all the threads.

Expert Reply:

I checked with Taskmaster and they confirmed that you can use the same lugnuts from an aluminum wheel on a steel wheel. They recommend 1/2 inch lugnuts such as Lionshead Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 1/2" # LHLR103 on a wheel like the Provider ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWA14RWS.
