I recommend Advent Air RV Air Conditioner part # ACM135C for the 8.5x24 ft enclosed trailer. The temperature range is 65 degrees F to 90 degrees F so it will keep your enclosed trailer nice and cool on hot days. You can also add a heat strip with part # ACMHD for colder days. The air conditioner does require a 14-1/4" long x 14-1/4" wide opening on the roof but there is a thick gasket built into the unit to prevent leaking so there is not a need for any type of sealant. The best part about the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner is it comes with a start capacitor, so the running and starting watts will be 1,450 which means you can use a lower rated generator because there isn't a higher starting watt requirement like air conditioners without a start capacitor.

If you do not already have a generator, I recommend Firman 3,300-Watt Portable Inverter Generator part # FIR54FR with a 3,000 watt running power output which will be more than enough for the air conditioner with the start capacitor.
