Will Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit # 1171-1 Interfere With the Engine on a 2004 Toyota Sienna

Question:

I was told by the Toyota dealer that it will interfere with the engine. By looking at the installation guide, I dont see it getting near the engine. Please help me, Im really need one..

The Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, part # 1171-1, for your 2004 Toyota Sienna will install to the bottom of the bumper core and frame. It will not interfere with the engine. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the base plates. They will show in good detail, with pictures, where it will attach to your Sienna.

Now I did look up your 2004 Toyota Sienna and it said all FWD and AWD vehicles will need to install a lube pump to be able to flat tow the vehicle. The lube pump will prevent damage to your transmission. That could be what the dealer might be trying to say. I do not sell any lube pumps. I would also check your owners manual for any limitations regarding flat towing your vehicle.
