2011 suzuki equator without trailer package. so my reading notes i would need the #56087 wiring harness. what is the different in #56087 and C56225 harness. thanks

The Curt trailer wiring harness, # C56225, works and installs more like the factory one if the vehicle had a factory tow package. There is a jumper plug that you will connect at the front of the vehicle and another harness that plugs in at the back. it also includes 3 relays which the factory tow package would include. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
The Curt harness, # 56087, plugs in line with the tail light wiring and draws all of the power through the tail light wiring for the trailer lights. I have included a link to the installation details for this harness as well.
Given the slight difference in cost, I recommend going with the item # C56225 harness that installs and works more like the factory tow package.
