Question:
I received the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller and 3045 connector. I installed the controller to my 2018 Dodge Durango GT has the factory towing package. When I hook up my trailer, the controller say nc not connected. I am using this same controller in my GMC pickup I am swapping the one controller between the two vehicles. The brand new controller works fine in the truck when connected to the same trailer. Does Dodge have to program my vehicles computer to get this to connect? Thanks

On some Dodge vehicles that use the # TK93VR to install a brake controller like the Prius IQ # TK90160 there are a few fuses and relays that may need to be connected under the hood to complete the wiring according to Tekonsha.
So what you can do is check under the hood for brake controller related fuses/relays and replace as needed or you can cut out the blue wire of the # TK93VR and run a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) back to the 5:00 pin of the 7-way to activate it.
