Locating Brake Switch Circuit for Installing Brake Controller on 2014 Chevy Express Van 4500

We are trying to install a brake controller and could not find the wires to the 7 way. We have rewired it and the last step is to connect to the cold brake wire. It is definitely not a wire that is connected to the brake. Those are all low wattage. Where do I look? Again it’s a 4500. It is a RV.

When we installed the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 on the 2012 model Express Van we actually connected to the brake switch circuit using the fuse box under the hood, as we had the same issues you described of finding a properly powered circuit behind the pedal. I have attached an image of the fuse we connected to using the Fuse Tap Kit # F2526.
