Can a Reversible Fan be Used on a 12 volt Positive Ground Electrical System in a 1962 Austin Healey

Question:

I wanted to know if the fans that can be used as pusher or puller like the D18912 can be used in a positive ground car, like a 1962 Austin Healey Sprite. I am assuming the polarity is reversed depending on if it is used as a pusher vs. a puller so I assume it does not matter if it is negative or positive ground, but I need to make sure before buying one.

I checked with my technical contact at Derale to verify that the reversible fans like the Derale Radiator Fan # D18912, can be used in a vehicle with 12 volt positive ground system. He confirmed that the fan can be installed on your 1962 Austin Healey Sprite.
