For your 2008 Chevy Express 3500 van with a 6.0 liter engine the Flex-a-lite 16" Trimline Reversible Electric Radiator Fan # FLX116 that you referenced is a confirmed fit and would work great. It can move 2,215 CFM which will be plenty to keep your coolant cool and then for a thermostat kit you'd just want the part # FLX31149.
