Question:
Ive watched your install video and cannot see any reason to remove the tow hooks. Why remove them?

The tow hooks on your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 do not need to be removed to install the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 65078. The bolts that hold the tow hooks do get removed but only to set the trailer hitch in place as they then get reinstalled.
I have attached a photo for you that shows the trailer hitch installed on a similar truck with tow hooks in place.
