How to Use the Yakima SkyRise Tent Over the Bed of a 2017 Nissan Frontier with Tonneau Cover

I want to mount a roof rack tent to my tonneau cover what rack would be best i will modify the cover to hold the waight

I do have options for you but we do not offer any tents that are designed to attach directly to the top of a tonneau cover. This would not really even be possible due to the weight so you would have to install a rack on the bed rails, over the tonneau cover. However, this only works if the tonneau cover you have now installs inside of the bed rails like the Leer # LE85VR.

For a rack, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System w/ 2 Vortex Aero Crossbars part # Y02-500B as this would then allow you to use the Yakima SkyRise Tent part # Y07437.
