While you can use the Reese Dual Cam High-Performance Sway Control # RP26002 you purchased, a Pro Series weight distribution system is not going to be compatible because neither the round nor trunnion style bars on the Pro Series has the tapered ends that work with the Dual Cam system.
In order to use the Dual Cam Sway Control you are going to need a new weight distribution system from Reese, which will depend on the tongue weight capacity you need:
- Reese Weight Distribution System w Shank - Trunnion Bar - 15,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # RP66541
- Reese Weight Distribution System w Shank - Trunnion Bar - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW # RP66542
OR if you already have a shank you can get a system without a shank and use your current one:
- Reese Weight Distribution w/out Shank - Trunnion Bar - 10,000 lbs GTW, 600 lbs TW # RP66020
- Reese Weight Distribution w/out Shank - Trunnion Bar - 10,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # RP66021
- Reese Weight Distribution w/out Shank - Trunnion Bar - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW # RP66022
- Reese Weight Distribution w/out Shank - Trunnion Bar - - 15,000 lbs GTW, 1,500 lbs TW # RP66131
These systems come with everything needed for installation and will work with your dual cam system; they only require a hitch ball with a 1-1/4" diameter shank, either 2" Hitch Ball # A-90 or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # 19286.
Your other option for sway control, if you wanted to keep your Pro Series system, would be to add the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660 which will work with the Pro Series weight distribution systems, and you can even add two of them for optimal sway control.
I've added links to video reviews of the Reese weight distribution system and Reese sway control kit for you to take a look at.
