There are gooseneck hitches that fit the 2003 Ford F-150 but the Draw-Tite hitch part # 8339 is not a fit. The Draw-Tite Gooseneck hitch is designed for newer F-150 trucks.
I recommend Curt's Folding Gooseneck hitch part # C61652-637 for the 2003 Ford F-150 with a 6-1/2 foot or 8 foot bed. The Curt Under Bed Folding Gooseneck Hitch comes with the rails that are custom fit for the 2003 Ford F-150 so there is not any drilling required for installation. The Curt Gooseneck ball folds downs and tucks away in the bed much like the Draw-Tite version. I have attached a photo of how it tucks away.
If you already have the Draw-Tite Gooseneck hitch it is not compatible with the Curt Rail kit.
