Solar to charge battery in horse trailer. What size system do I need to install on my horse trailer to keep battery charged so I can use the inside and outside LED lights when its not hooked up to vehicle.

Solar panels come in many sizes and power ratings to handle the charging requirements of different capacities of batteries. You can read more on solar systems in the linked articles.
You will get more effective charging of your trailer battery (while you are driving) if you use a DC to DC charger like the Redarc BCDC # 331-BCDC1240D. This charges takes in the 12V power from your vehicle 7-way and uses it to provide controlled charging of the trailer battery. This unit also allows you top add a solar panel like the NOCO as a secondary power input for charging during daylight hours.
