Question:

I have a 2009 Carriage Cameo 5th wheel with independent electric front landing gear. The driver side is making a loud clicking noise and will not raise the camper. It will retract and then extend without weight on it. After research,the UF17-841002 appears to be what I need. What say yee

RV makers rarely keep track of specific components like the landing gear that they install on their trailers so it is often up to the owner to identify what brand and model is on the specific trailer. If you have either Ultra-Fab UF14-841012 or # UF17-943010 then the part you referenced # UF17-841002 is indeed the correct replacement.

Clicking noises generally indicate mechanical issues like a bad jack screw or motor gear, rather than electrical issues with the motor itself.
