Question:
How do these work on fifth wheels. My socket is in the rear end side wall. Im concerned about it pulling out. Or does it give enough so it works fine. What length do you recommend. 6ft or 12ft.

The Bargman 7-Way, RV-Style Connector w/ 12' Long Coiled Cable - Trailer End # WG54006-046 is 12 foot long when fully stretched. The coil keeps some slight tension to keep the cable from dragging, but it will work very well for your 5th wheel connection. With your socket on the rear end sidewall, this 12 foot cable will not be overkill for length and will have more than enough travel so I recommend this over a shorter option. The 7-way connector will have a clip that will help keep this firmly connected so you don't need to worry about it coming loose.
I've attached a video that shows this connector along with a junction box like # 38656 where you can use ring terminals # 44-5310A. If you want a direct connection you can use heat shrink butt connectors like # DW05745-10 instead.
