Question:
Do the css-1168 coil sumo springs fit on both the front and rear springs, or are there different part numbers? Is the css-1168R different from the css-1168?

Expert Reply:
The SumoSprings Coil Helper Spring kits # CSS-1168 and # CSS-1168R that you found on our site are actually the same product. The R designation that we use on the one kit refers to an application on the REAR coil springs on a 2006 Honda Odyssey like yours. SumoSprings has not tested the springs on the front coils of your vehicle.
For the 2006 Odyssey only rear axle kits are available since on this vehicle the low-slung rear suspension is most often where support is needed. The SumoSprings are a fairly easy installation suitable for a DIY-er with appropriate floor jack, jack stands and wheel chocks.
Better rear suspension leveling support will come from the Timbren kit # THROD2 since this kit uses stiffer patented natural rubber springs. This kit is a no-drill bolt-on install, but it is recommended for professional installation in a shop that has a vehicle lift.
