Will this work with other controllers? What is lenght of the wires on this probe? Is this preset temp, or is it just a switch to work with a adjustable controller?

I spoke to my contact at Derale about the Derale Replacement Push-In Probe for Adjustable Fan-Control Thermostat part # D16760 and they informed me that the cord is 18" long. The controller you have must be able to read a 37k thermistor in order to be compatible with this thermostat. If it is not then you will need to use the Derale Adjustable Fan-Control Thermostat with Push-In Radiator Probe part # D16759. The temperature range is indeed set by the controller.
