Question:

Will both of these boxes fit between the wheel wells of a 5.5foot bed, 2018 F150? How is the box fastened to the truck?

The 55" UWS Truck Bed Chest # UWS01030 has been confirmed by the manufacturer to fit a 2018 Ford F-150 with a 5-1/2 foot bed, though the other toolbox you mentioned is not a fit for this truck.

To fasten this tool box to the bed of your '18 F-150 you are going to first need to drill though the box with an 11/32" drill bit and you'll then fasten it with washers and lock nuts.
