Brake Controller for a 2004 Chevy Tahoe

Question:
I'm new to brake controllers. My question is, which proportional brake controller/installation kit would you recommend? I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe with the factory tow package. I will be towing a tandem axle utility trailer. Thanks for your help.

If your vehicle does not have a 7 Way Plug installed, you will need to manually run the wires to complete a 7 Way. We do offer a wiring harnesses, item # 3015-S, for your vehicle.
One of our best selling brake controllers is the Tekonsha Prodigy, item # 90885. There is a plug in wiring harness, item # 3015-P, that will attach to the back of the controller and plug in underneath the dash of the Chevrolet Tahoe.
