Question:
Good evening, The problem that I am having, is that my suburban is about an inch higher in front and drop two inches in the rear. I dropped the weight distribution hitch as low as I could. When I measured the trailer hitch it was 21 inches and the ball was 28 inches. Was not able to eliminate the seven inch difference when I adjust the system. I think, I may need a different shank, but dont know which would be the best. The current shank is nine inches from the Reese 49904 Pro Series WD ASB 1200#. My vehicle is a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban and the trailer is a 2018 Keystone Passport Ultra Lite Grand Touring

The Pro Series Weight Distribution System # 49570 you mentioned only has a maximum 2 inch drop with the shank that comes with the system. You most definitely need a longer shank for the height of your truck compared to your trailer coupler height. I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank - 12" Long - 12-1/2" Rise 9-3/4" Drop - 1.2K TW # FA92-02-4315 which will give you the drop needed and will also accommodate the tongue weight of your system. You can alternatively use the Curt # C17121 for the 7 inch drop you measured needing.
Just to confirm the measurement, I've attached an article to help. You measure the weight distribution shank and head the same way as a ball mount.
