Question:

I need a hitch to carry 2 bikes on my 2018 Mazda 3. It has a hatchback so my older trunk rack doesn't fit like it did on my old car. A rack that's easier to put the bikes on would be nice.

The hitch I recommend for your 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback is the Draw-Tite # 24914. It doesn't require an annoying support strap like the Curt and the install is much easier than the EcoHitch. I've linked the install details for you to take a look at. You can also look at the picture I attached to see what it looks like.

The bike rack I recommend for you is the Kuat Transfer, part # KU74FR. It's one of the easiest racks to get the bikes on and off of because of the open "U" shaped design. Since it doesn't have tracks that run all the way across you can essentially stand inside the rack while reaching the bike closest to the car.

The Transfer also has an easy to get to foot lever for when you need to tilt it to access the Mazda's trunk.
