2016 subaru outback Do i need anything else to attatch to my wifes vehicle? She needs to carry 2 kayaks.

Assuming your wife's 2016 Subaru Outback has a roof rack there are carriers that will allow her to carry two kayaks, but the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier # S512 only holds one kayak.
To carry a two kayaks I recommend the Thule Stacker Kayak Carrier System # TH830 because it is easy to use and comes with the necessary tie-down straps and bow stern tie-downs for both kayaks. The only thing you may need are Hood Anchors # Y07416, but that is only if your wife's Outback does not have easily accessible tie-down points.
Just keep in mind that the crossbar spread on your wife's '16 Outback needs to be at least 24 inches to use the Staker. I have added a link to an installation video for you to take a look at as well as a link to a video review to check out.
