Can Thule Camber Bike Rack be Used in 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Hitch

Published 12/17/2018

Question:

Yes, the Thule Roadway 2 Bike Rack # TH912XTR can absolutely be used in a 1-1/4 hitch like the Draw-Tite # 36493 that fits your 2010 Subaru Outback (assuming it is not the Sport model). The Roadway has a 1-1/4 inch shank so it will fit perfectly! I do recommend using the Snug Tite hitch lock # THSTL2 to lock this bike rack to your trailer hitch and protect your investment. I have added links to video reviews of the Snug Tite lock and Thule Roadway for you to check out as well.

Yes, the Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack # TH9058 will work with the Draw-Tite # 36493 for your 2010 Subaru Outback. This bike rack measures just 5-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack and the Draw-Tite hitch measures 5-1/2 inches from the hitch pin hole to the bumper so there is just enough room for it to fit.
