Recommended Roof Rack for 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe with Panoramic Glass Roof

Question:

Looking at roof racks for the 2019 Santa Fe. Our SF has the big glass panorama roof and the flush rails. We plan to carry cargo up there once in a while but we'd prefer a rack that looks good on our dark grey Santa Fe.

I recommend Thule's AeroBlade Edge roof rack system for your 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe with Panoramic Glass Roof. This rack is made of parts # TH7602B-TH7603B and # THKIT4093.

I like this rack because it features the quieter aerodynamic type of crossbars that will make less wind noise at highway speed. These wing-like bars cut through the air better than all other shapes and they allow you to mount accessory carriers (for bikes, skis and kayaks) in either of two different ways. Compatible carriers can mount around the bars with the usual type of wrap-around clamp hardware OR they can be installed in the channels in the tops of the bars.

The main reason I suggest this rack is that on a dark grey or black vehicle it will provide the best-looking roof rack around. The black aero bars terminate in the rack feet, instead of sticking out past them, which gives much more of an OEM appearance. This rack will look more like it belongs on the car than just about all other aftermarket roof racks. As with any roof rack and any vehicle sunroof, it is recommended that you do not operate it with the rack installed on the car.
