Best Cargo Carrier for Generator on an RV

Question:

I’m having a hard time finding a carrier of the right size and weight. I need something to Cary a honda eu7000is on my 2” rv receiver but weight is a great concern. The generator dimensions are Dimensions L x W x H: 33.4inch x 27.6inch x 28.4 Is there a light weight carrier that will fit my gen? The gen is the only thing that will be on that carrier. The maxtow Item # MT70106 is to heavy. Need something less than 50 lbs. Any suggestions. A ramp is not needed And adds to much weight. Thanks.

I would love to help but finding a cargo carrier with everything you need is going to be an extremely difficult task. The main issue is going to be size/weight. Most cargo carriers that can accommodate the 27.6" depth of your generator are not going to be under 50 lbs. Also, only cargo carriers with a fixed shank can be used on the back of an RV due to the added stress.

Therefore, the only cargo carrier we offer that will allow you to carry the Honda EU7000iS Inverter Generator on the back of your RV is the 32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier part # PS1040100 which weighs 70 lbs. I wish I had better options for you but this appears to be the only one we can offer you. I have attached a review video below.
