In order to have the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Muffler part # MF12586 installed on your 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee you will need to take your vehicle to a local exhaust shop. Your Grand Cherokee has a resonator in the middle of the exhaust and a muffler at the end of the exhaust just before the tail pipes. The MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Muffler will need to replace the muffler at the end of the exhaust.

What are my options if i want to replace the big resonator, will it be glasspacks? And what would be an alternative if glasspacks are too loud?

If you will be replacing the resonator then you may as well just look into a cat back system because by the time you factor in the parts for the muffler/glasspack and custom exhaust work you will most likely be over that of an aftermarket cat back system. It's also going to sound much better in my opinion. For this, I recommend the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System part # MF16631.
