Availability of Exhaust System for 2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6

Question:

The standard tips on my C6 look wimpy. I would like to go to 3inch or larger. What do recommend to replace them. Also, what would you recommend for the cat back exhaust system to possible replace the stock mufflers. I recently installed long tube headers with 3inch X pipe crossovers. back to the axle.

For a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6 I have the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Axle-Back Exhaust System, part # MF15886. This is an axle-back system that will install from the axle back to the tailpipe. The polished stainless steel quad tips ( dual tips on each side) are 4 inch diameter. The diameter on the mandrel bent tubes is 2-1/2 inches that connect the system to your exhaust system. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the axle-back system.

There is also a cat-back systems for your Corvette. The MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System, part # MF15884, has the 4 inch polished stainless steel dual tips on each side.

The cat-back system has 2-1/2 inch tubing diameter. I am including a link to the instructions for the system.

If you are just needing exhaust tips you will need to determine the size of your exhaust pipe that your current tips are attached to and pick the correct size and style you would like.
