What Reese hitch - the model number - do you have? It may be possible to switch out the legs or use an adapter. But to know for sure I would have to know the model number of your current Reese hitch. If you can let me know I'd be happy to help.

Thanks for the info! You can use your Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30047 in your 2017 GMC Sierra 3500 with the factory puck system; all you need in order to do that is an adapter. It is likely you have an 8' bed and for that you would need the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 8' Bed # DM6206. If you do have a short bed you will need the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 6-1/2' Bed # DM6194.
