How to Use Prodigy RF Brake Controller On Vehicle without Cigarette Lighter Power Outlet

Question:
My car doesnt have the 12v round connection cigarette lighter that is shown for the handheld unit. Is there an adapter that can power this from a USB port?

Your best option would be to install the 12 volt outlet kit part # RM-9332 on your vehicle so that you can have the correct outlet to power the remote of the Prodigy RF part # TK94FR that you referenced. This wires directly to the battery and gives you the cigarette outlet style of socket that the RF needs.
