How to Install a Reese 5th Wheel Hitch on a 2014 Ram 2500

Question:

I have a Reese hitch and we are borrowing a friends 2014 Dodge Ram that has a 5th wheel set up. I need to make sure that your bracket will work with a Reese hitch and in the Ram 8 foot bed.

In order to install a Reese 5th Wheel Hitch on a 2014 Ram 2500 assuming the hitch mounts using industry standard rails (ISR) you will want to use the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit part # RP50054-58 if the truck did not come with the factory rail kit or the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter part # RP30154 if the truck did come with the factory rail kit.

I have attached a photo of what the factory rail kit looks like. If you do not know whether or not the Reese 5th Wheel Hitch you have mounts using ISR then please send me a photo and I would be happy to confirm this though I would say around 95% of them do.
