Question:
Do you know what installation is required for a 2008 Mazda MAZDA3 s Grand Touring Hatchback? I see videos on a 2007 which required drilling for the bolts and it looks like a 2009 doesnt require drilling. Any info you could provide would be great. Thanks!

The Draw-Tite Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, part # 24816, will fit the 2004 to 2006 Mazda 3 all models, and 2007 to 2009 Mazda 3 all models with and without LED taillights. So, this hitch will fit your 2008 Mazda 3 s Grand Touring Hatchback. On this hitch, drilling is required to enlarge the four existing access holes on your vehicle. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Draw-Tite hitch.
Drilling is also required on the other hitch that will fit your vehicle. The CURT Hitch, part # 11386, will not fit vehicles with LED taillights or MazdaSPEED models. I am including the installation instructions for both of these hitches.
The 2010 and 2011 Mazda 3 model hitches do not require any drilling for hitch installation.
