what carrier do you suggest to haul one Kymco People 150 around with the car because I now have to go out of town to have it serviced

I did some research on your Kymco People 150 and it appears that the best carrier we have for this is the etrailer Motorcycle Carrier part # e98873. This carrier is lightweight at 58 lbs and has a ramp for easy loading.
In order to then secure the scooter to the carrier I recommend the Erickson Ratchet Tie-Down Straps part # EM31353 as the carrier has integrated tie-down loops for use with these types of ratchet straps. The carrier also has a 500 lb weight capacity with a 2" shank. However, the vehicle and hitch will both need to be rated for the weight of the carrier and scooter added together so I do recommend confirming the vehicle's and hitch's tongue weight capacity before moving forward.
