Question:

Hi! I need 4 mounting straps including mounting hooks for attaching to the car and 4 mounting brackets for my XCargo Cartop Carrier. Original part numbers were 00286 and 00390. Sears says the manufacturer no longer makes the mounting strap. Sears picture of the part only includes the strap but I need the hook as well. Are there any other bracket, strap and hook made for another carrier that will fit the holes of the XCargo? Thanks for your help!

For the straps on your Sears X Cargo box you can use the Tie-Down Strap for Thule Roof Mounted Cargo Boxes # 10169. As for the hook, I believe you were talking about the latch, and there is a replacement available, the Replacement Latch # 03347 which we know will work with your Sears X Cargo box.
