What Keeps the Weight of a Boat from Pushing Bolster Brackets Down and Out of Position

Question:
Are these held to the trailer by friction from the dimples? What prevents the weight of the boat from pushing the brackets down? Thanks

When bolted to the trailer frame with u-bolts, sold separately, the CE Smith Bolster Bracket # CE10101G relies on the dimpled surface to keep from sliding on the frame. Presumably you will be using multiple brackets so the weight or force that is applied is dispersed to more than one bracket at a time which will also help keep them in place.
