Question:
The remote will not get power. I have installed the batteries several different ways and received a replacement remote. Any ideas?

Sometimes the little CR2032 batteries will have a sticker on them that you have to peel off so the battery actually touches the metal contacts inside the remote # AL72704. I had the exact same problem with a vehicle key fob until I noticed that sticker and peeled it off.
On this remote when you take it apart to install the batteries the side that does not have the circuit board is the negative. The negative side of one of the batteries touches the contacts on that side. The other battery's negative side would sit on top of the first battery's positive side.
