Trailer Hitch for a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis

Question:
I want to purchase a receiver hitch for my 2004, Mercury, Grand Marquis. The hitch Code is 41116. The illustration shows that the receiver goes below the plastic Bumper Guard. However, when I have previously checked the FordDirect.com, they show the plastic carved out to make room for the hitch which I do not like. Is your photo correct?

I have checked the instructions for that particular hitch. You can see them for yourself by clicking the provided link.
The Draw-Tite Class III Receiver, part # 41116 will require no modifications to the rear fascia. The photo shown on the product page is an actual photo, not a stock photo.
