We do have options for carrying bikes on your 2006 Mini Cooper Convertible but none of the trunk mount racks we carry are confirmed fits. Instead, I recommend adding a hitch to your Mini and using a hitch mount bike rack. I think you'll be happier in the long run even though the cost is initially higher but most people find it's worth it. Mounting the rack on the hitch is a lot easier than mounting a trunk mount rack and also a hitch mount is more likely to fit another vehicle later.

The hitch that fits the convertible Mini is the Curt # C11126. You do need to remove the rear bumper fascia for the install but it dosn't require any drilling or trimming, which is nice. Then for a rack I recommend the easy to use Kuat Beta, part # B202-114. The Beta is a no frills rack that's small and only weights about 12-1/2 pounds and can carry up to two 40 pound bikes.

If any of your bikes are women's or children's bikes you also likely are going to need a bike frame adapter bar, like the Swagman Deluxe # 64005. This is so a bike without the horizontal crosstube a men's bike typically has have a good place to hang from on a hanging bike rack.
