Question:
Will the Reese RP65509 work with my 17 ft. Casita? It weighs approx 2700 lbs with 365 lbs on the ball.

When choosing a weight distribution system you will want one that has a tongue weight capacity range that encompasses the trailer tongue weight when loaded and ready to tow and that also includes the weight of any gear loaded behind the rear axle of the vehicle.
The 365 pound tongue weight of your travel trailer is near the top capacity of the Reese Light-Duty Weight Distribution System, # RP65509, which has a range of 200 to 600 pounds. If you are not counting the weight of any gear in the back of the vehicle, this system could work, but I recommend going to the next highest system to be safe.
The unit comes with a shank so you would just need a ball like # 19286 (2-5/16 inch diameter) or # A-90 (2 inch diameter). Plus this system is more cost effective. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
