Can a CURT Trailer Hitch on a 2008 Suzuki SX4 Sport Handle a 551 Pound Waverunner

If you have a 2008 Suzuki SX4 Sport model, then the CURT Trailer Hitch, # C11446, will fit and you should not have any problems towing the watercraft provided you stay within the capacities of the hitch. This hitch is rated for 200 pounds tongue weight and 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight. I have included a link to the installation details for you.

You would also need ball mount # C45521 and a ball, # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter) depending on which size the trailer coupler accepts. For trailer wiring, use # HM11141255. Then use # F-4 for the pin and clip.I have included a link to the installation instructions for the wiring as well.

please oh please get me this #11446 , maybe old used one even, or one I can easily modify the center 'tow loop'? for my '09 Suzuki sx4 Sport sedan you're my last hope! gary

@GaryC I'm sorry but it was discontinued a year and a half ago and we no longer have any around. If you can't find one your only option would be to take the # E-9 to a local fabricator and have them fashion a hitch for you.
