Question:
I have a 2016 Honda Fit. I am interested in getting a 1 1/4 inch hitch so I can attach a Thule bike rack. Is this hitch something that would work with my car without harming the transmission? Aside from the hitch, would I need all of the accessories to make this work? Please advise.

The hitch I recommend for carrying a bike rack with your 2016 Honda Fit is the Draw Tite part # 24920 as unlike the Curt hitch for your vehicle # C11406 it does not require the use of a stabilizer strap when carrying a bike rack.
Carrying a bike rack in this hitch would not affect your transmission at all. This hitch also comes with everything you'd need to install too.
This would work well with a Thule bike rack like the Thule T2 part # TH23JV.
