The item you selected, Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 36318 will fit all model years of the Ford Freestar which range from 2004-2007. This hitch will also fit the 2004-2007 Mercury Monterey.

To complete your towing setup, you will need the following items:
Draw-Tite Ball Mount, part # 36071
1-7/8 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19256
2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19258
Pin and Clip, part # PC2

For wiring, if your Freestar came equipped with a factory tow package, you will need Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, part # 56073. If your van did not come equipped with a tow package, you will need part # C56673.
