Hi, the part number listed in the response to this same question posted here: question-283909 Does not work for the 2018 Tundra, it seems they have changed the factory harness. Is there a new harness that will fit the 2018 Tundra?

You are correct, the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers part # 3031-P which was a fit for a 2017 Toyota Tundra will not fit a 2018 Toyota Tundra as the adapter has changed. I called my contact at Tekonsha and they have not yet developed a plug-in harness for your vehicle at this time (May 2018) though they are working on one.

Currently, the only way to install a brake controller on a 2018 Toyota Tundra would be to hardware one into the vehicle's wiring harness. This is actually not as daunting of a task as it may seem. All you will need to do is cut off the plug on the vehicle's wiring harness and hardwire the one for you brake controller into this which is only four wires. You will however need a circuit tester like part # ALL640595 to make sure you are making the correct connections.
