I am looking at purchasing a demco hijacker fwh 24pa hitch and was wondering if you can tell me which rail kit I need to install in to a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 Megacab pickup? Thanks!

For your 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 MegaCab, the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit # DM8552016-71 is what you want if you want to stay with the same manufacturer as your hitch. However, the hitch will use industry standard base rails, so I recommend instead using the Reese Custom Installation Kit # RP50140-58.

You may also want to consider the 7-way harness # HM42137 for the bed of your truck for a really clean look and a second working 7-way for easy connection access.

These will work very well with the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider -21K # DM8550035 or 18K # DM8550034. Both of these are confirmed to fit your truck with these base rails.
