2018 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4 with Adaptive Cruise Base Plate Kit Recommendation
Updated 05/09/2018 | Published 05/08/2018 >
Question:
I wanted to confirm which baseplate is needed for a 2018 Ford Explorer Sport with adaptive cruise. It looks like BX2668 should work but I spoke with an installer today who said this plate will not fit properly. Have you had any experience putting this on a 2018? Thanks!

According to Blue Ox the base plate kit part # BX2668 does fit the versions of the Ford Explorer Sport that have the Active Cruise Control. I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions that shows where it says "Includes ACC" which means active cruise control.
