i have the Reese rail system for a fifth wheel item # RP56001-53, which was a 2015 chevy silverado 2500HD. I purchased a new truck 2018 ram 2500 and was wondering if these rails would fit in the new truck or would i need a new custom fit one. Thanks!!

The Reese fifth wheel rail kit part # RP56001-53 that you had installed on your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD would not fit a 2018 Ram 2500 as they are totally different trucks. You'd be able to reuse the rails though if you went with the bracket kit # RP56009. This bracket kit with your outboard Reese rails would be all you'd need to install rails in your new 2018 Ram.
