For your 2018 Mazda CX-5, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76138 which is a 2 inch receiver rated for up to 675 lbs tongue weight. This is an easy installation with no drilling required. I recommend using the GY39FR for this hitch to give you anti-rattle stability for your cargo carrier.
For your cargo carrier, I recommend the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18151. This steel carrier is rated for up to 500 lbs and has the option to fold up close to the vehicle when not in use. Its basket style will allow multiple tie-down points for straps like # IMF12637.
For a roof rack, there are multiple options based on the roof design. Do you have a naked roof (no rails), raised side rails, or flush mounted side rails? I'll list the parts needed for each option.
For a naked roof, I recommend the Thule # TH711420, # TH710501, # TH145079 and # TH450400.
For raised side rails, I recommend the Malone system # MPG215
For flush mounted side rails, I recommend the Yakima # Y00425, # Y00145, # Y06029 and # Y07204.
