Question:
Will the ST 400-5AS16K fit on my LeLand 7921 pin box...also do I need a Wedge? Using your formula I will have 5 clearance will that be enough. Also I am looking at your 30081 Reese hitch . I was wondering with the Sidewinder above and a 4 way pivot head on the hitch will that be to much movement?

For your LeLand 7921 pin box you would want a 5th Airborne with Sidewinder Premium Fifth Wheel Air-Ride Coupler # ST400-5AS16K like you referenced. This sidewinder is designed specifically to work on your pin box and should work very well for you.
This Sidewinder would work very well with the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928, and would not give you too much movement in your setup. I attached installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
Yes, you will want to install a wedge. There is an included universal wedge, but I would recommend you use a 5th Airborne Custom Wedge # SWW-01 as it designed to work specifically with the # RP30081. I attached installation instructions for you to check out also.
Typically, 4 inches of clearance is all that is needed. So with your 5 inches of clearance you should be fine.
