Just wanted to make sure that the Hitch # 24679 will fit my 2009 VW Beetle with 2.5 non turbo engine?

Yes, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 24679, will fit your 2009 VW New Beetle non-turbo model. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.
If you plan on doing any towing, the recommended ball mount is # 3593 and you can use pin and clip # PC2. For a ball, use # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, use # 119178KIT. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation of the wiring on a similar vehicle for you to view.
